How We Started
The Computer Loft opened their doors in 2013 when a local electronics repair shop went out of business in La Vernia. Wes had been working privately in the community for years as a IT Contractor and he saw the need for a shop to take over the customers who were left behind without technology services. The local community offered their support and helped grow the business to the company it is today. Today the Computer Loft has expanded to new locations but never forgotten the customers who have made this possible. Wes Ashburn | Owner
(with wife Donna)Wes is the owner and founder of The Computer Loft, building the business from the ground up to serve La Vernia and the surrounding community. With hands-on experience in every aspect of electronics repair, from smartphones to enterprise networks, he ensures the shop maintains the highest standards of quality and trust. His leadership blends technical expertise with a customer-first mindset, making The Computer Loft a reliable partner for both individuals and businesses.
Nadine Moore | Office Manager
Nadine keeps the front of the shop running smoothly, making sure every customer is greeted with friendly, efficient service. With her own experience in phone and tablet repair, as well as a CompTIA A+ certification, she provides hands-on solutions while ensuring operations remain organized and efficient. Her ability to balance customer care with technical know-how helps create a seamless experience for everyone who walks through the door.
Garrick Martinez | Lead Technician
Garrick brings certified expertise with CompTIA Security+ and A+, allowing him to take on the most challenging computer and network issues with precision. Known for his problem-solving skills and attention to detail, he ensures every repair is completed to the highest standard. His passion for technology and dedication to customers make him an invaluable part of the team.
Evan Ashburn | Technical Team Lead
Evan supports the team as both a secondary technician and the shop’s web specialist, combining technical repair skills with modern digital expertise. Backed by an AWS Solutions Architect certification, he helps bridge the gap between in-store services and online support. His versatility allows him to contribute across multiple areas, ensuring The Computer Loft stays innovative and connected.
